Junior Elite 100 Recap

Icons Sport had the opportunity to travel over to Atlanta, Ga over the weekend to check out On the Radar’s Junior Elite Top 100 Camp. There was over 60 of the top kids in the southeast in attendance and the guys got great instruction and got the opportunity to compete 5 on 5 in front of national media. On the Radar is one of the top media outlets in the country, they host several big name events over the spring and summer.

Ja’Mari Arnold 2023 (AL) – Crafty lead guard that has extreme play making abilities along with a high IQ one of the things that stands out in his game is his patience and how he picks his spots when attacking.

Jaylen Sanford 2023 (GA) – Combo guard that can play with or without the ball. With his athleticism and ability to handle the ball its hard stopping him from getting to the rack and finishing.

John Green 2023 (AL) – Green more so displayed his scoring abilities this weekend. Dominating the 1 on 1 drills as well as in 5 on 5 getting to the basket and finishing well.

Kymell Willimas 2023 (GA) – Williams is a tough hard nose player. What he lacks in size he makes up with toughness. Williams is coming off a big performance at the Under Armour Best of the Best and he continued that play at the Junior Elite Top 100 Camp.

Xavier Bell 2023 (GA) – Athletic high energy forward that has a high motor. Bell finished a few dunks in transition.

Aaron Jones 2023 (GA) – 6’8 long rangy forward that has soft hands and a soft touch. Jones will be an interesting prospect to watch over the next few years.

Avante Nichols 2023 (GA) – Nichols played hard over the course of the camp and was out to prove a point. I love the energy that he brought and look forward to seeing him this spring/summer.

Quamond Dennis 2024 (GA) – Dennis was one of the younger campers that stood out. Great IQ for the game as well as size for position.
